We are pleased to present this Study on Gender Equality and Entrepreneurship in Bosnia and Herzegovina, conducted through the Towards Equality Project and funded by the French Development Agency (AFD). This research examines the dynamics of women’s entrepreneurship in Bosnia and Herzegovina, shedding light on the specific challenges women entrepreneurs face. It highlights structural and institutional barriers that hinder women’s access to economic resources, while also identifying key opportunities to foster a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Through in-depth analysis and strategic recommendations, this study aims to support policymakers and development actors in advancing women’s economic empowerment in the country.
