Since 2006, Cartier Women’s Initiative has been supporting and rewarding women impact entrepreneurs to help them grow their businesses and strengthen their leadership. Through human, social and financial capital support, Cartier Women’s Initiative promotes social and environmental change by giving the women it supports the keys to develop their businesses.
Three winners will be distinguished in each of the 11 program categories and will receive financial support ranging from 30 000 to 100 000$ ! In addition, they will follow a coaching program consisting of group workshops and training and will be integrated into a community of over 500 experts around the world!
The call for applications is open from May 10 to June 30, 2023.

#1 The main selection criteria
Cartier Women’s Initiative rewards impact entrepreneurs whose project is already launched and whose impact is proven. Among the main eligibility criteria, we are looking for women entrepreneurs who meet the following elements :
- A business with the capacity to generate profits (associations and NGOs are not eligible for the call for applications, but can be hybrid structures);
- Formalized companies, with between 1 and 6 years of activity;
- The candidate must be one of the founders of the project, and have a sufficient level of English to follow the program.
#2 The role of Empow’Her
Cartier has asked Empow’Her to assist in the identification of female entrepreneurs for the French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa region. We put our expertise at the service of future candidates to accompany them and give them every chance to become laureates and to integrate the community of Cartier Women’s Initiative Fellows, and propose for this purpose 2-hour free coaching sessions for the candidate entrepreneurs.
